My story
For as long as I can remember, I struggled with my health.
As a child, I had constant stomach issues. As a teenager, I dealt with injuries and chronic pain that never seemed to have clear answers. Later, when I sought professional help for digestive symptoms, fatigue, and irregular cycles, I was dismissed.
At the time, I didn't have the language to understand what was happening. Looking back, I can see how chronic stress, anxiety, and unresolved emotional challenges were influencing my physical health in ways I never realized.
My search for answers led me to pursue advanced education in naturopathic medicine. Through that experience, I developed a deep appreciation for the interconnected nature of the body and the importance of looking beyond symptoms alone.
But despite everything I was learning, my own health continued to decline.
The demands of medical training combined with years of pushing through symptoms and neglecting my own well-being, eventually forced me to step back and reevaluate. That decision became one of the most important turning points in my life.
It taught me that true healing requires more than simply addressing symptoms. It requires understanding the whole person—their history, lifestyle, environment, stressors, habits, and unique physiology.
As I reflected on the kind of work I wanted to do, I realized I was most passionate about helping people uncover the underlying factors contributing to their symptoms and empowering them with practical, sustainable strategies for improving their health.
That path led me to Functional Diagnostic Nutrition® (FDN), where I gained specialized training in functional testing and root-cause wellness approaches. Combined with my extensive clinical education, personal training background, and personal experience navigating complex health challenges, this allows me to guide clients through a thoughtful, individualized process of understanding their bodies and creating meaningful change.
Today, I work with individuals who feel exhausted, overwhelmed, dismissed, or stuck—people who know something isn't right but aren't sure where to turn next.
My goal isn't simply to help you manage symptoms.
It's to help you better understand your body, build confidence in your health decisions, and create lasting change that improves your quality of life.
You do not have to feel this way forever.
For the little girl who thought she would fight her body forever:
Your symptoms are not your fault.
Your body is not broken.
There is hope.
SolaVera was created for that little girl—and for every person who has been told their symptoms are normal, their labs look fine, and there are no answers.
